Guardian newspaper article summarised

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2017/may/31/hollywood-and-tv-put-the-squeeze-on-uks-low-budget-film-makers This article is about how the smaller movies in media aren't getting as much coverage in Hollywood and on television. Although at film events the films that are being shown the most are the films that are smaller and not as big because it gives them a chance to be spotted by producers and directors so that their movies can possibly be put into cinemas and make money. Although it also specifies Netflix and how it has had a rapid increase in movies and Tv shows in recent times and how that its helping the company to grow even more. Using all this information i think that as big companies such as Netflix grow other smaller producers and business' which don't have the finances to make big money films will progressively lose their possible clients and eventually go out of business all together.

An intro to film budgeting

An intro to film budgeting  - A budget is something used to help finance something - For the budget you need to know the story for the actors, costumes, make up etc. - You need to know how much departments need for production. - Sometimes certain areas in a film set need to lose money to help another area which may need the finances to help develop that area. For example, the finance department would need more money to spend on wages for better actors. - Pre production is when the film producer is focused on budgeting, because they need to know how much each department needs before they start filming. - Don't need a big budget to improve the quality of the film, because there are other ways of producing it, such as instead of using expensive tools, you can find a cheaper alternative. - Focus on each department and the funding they need. Crowd funding  - When you get the public to help finance something 1. What is film called - Unsoudn 2. what was the kickstar...
